Subscription Terms.

Effective May 11, 2026. These terms govern any subscription you start on getaplomb.com. They sit on top of our Terms of Service; the two read together.

What you’re signing up for

When you choose “Subscribe & save” on a product page, you’re authorizing APLOMB. (Get Aplomb) to charge your payment method automatically on a recurring schedule. The schedule, price, and product are displayed at checkout and on every receipt. Today the only cadence we offer is monthly: we ship the same product every thirty days.

Auto-renewal disclosure

Your subscription automatically renews every 30 days at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. We charge your payment method on file the day each new period begins. We send a heads-up email 5 days before each renewal, the heads-up notes the date, the amount, and a single-click link to skip or cancel that shipment.

Cancellation

Cancel any time, in one click, from your account at getaplomb.com/account/subscriptions. No phone call, no email back-and-forth, no retention queue. Cancellation takes effect immediately by default, you can also schedule it for the end of the current period if you want to receive the shipment you already paid for. If you prefer to email us, write to [email protected] and we will cancel within one business day.

Pausing & skipping shipments

From the same account page you can pause your subscription for up to three months, or skip the next shipment without cancelling. Both take effect immediately.

Changing the card on file

Update your card any time in the Stripe Billing Portal, linked from your account dashboard. We never see or store your card number; Stripe holds the token.

Failed payments

If a renewal charge fails, Stripe will retry the charge automatically over the next two weeks (this is called “Smart Retries”). We send you a heads-up email when the first attempt fails so you can update the card. If all retries fail your subscription pauses until you update payment.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you do not see results after a full bottle, kit, or tin, write to [email protected] within 30 days of the original delivery. We will refund that shipment in full and cancel any active subscription. Shipping is non-refundable. The guarantee applies once per customer.

Price changes

We will not change your subscription price after you sign up without giving you at least 30 days notice by email. If you don’t want to accept a new price, cancel before it takes effect.

Acknowledgments at checkout

By clicking “Continue to Stripe Checkout” for a subscription order, you confirm: (1) you’ve read and agreed to these terms; (2) you authorize the recurring charge described above; (3) you understand cancellation is one click away in your account.

State-specific provisions

For residents of California, this complies with the California Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17600 et seq.). For residents of every U.S. state, this complies with the federal Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act (ROSCA, 15 U.S.C. § 8403) and the FTC Negative Option Rule. If your state offers stronger protections, those control.
